sooo for my sisters and parents i hope everyone remembers where we were this time one year ago. the glorious ft. leonard wood. its funny how much things can change in just one year. last year i woke up all bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to graduate and get on back home. today july 3rd marks the 6 month mark from the day i left home. i woke up nooottt so bright eyed and bushy tailed for another day in this lovely place.
i went back to the gym tonight for the first night in a while. its always funny to me, if i haven't been going to the gym then i dread going but once i go im dying to keep going. i have a lot of work to do between preparing for a pt test and trying to lose some weight so i def. need to keep up going. it just seems so much easier to eat better and be healthier when im working out too. good ole endorphines ha
i love everyone, have a very happy 4th. enjoy some ribs for me

  1. I was thinking about a year ago myself this morning. And the lovely drive back and forth- through the backwoods of Arkansas. I was on a mision to bring my daughter back home- and we made it back before your dad did!

6 months, wow! Borrowing from Suess, "Oh, the places you've been, and the places you'll go!" I'm very proud of you. There's no way a year ago I could have known what all would come to pass. But we constantly say our prayers and I know He has you in His hands. Learn all you can from this adventure, and this time next year I hope that we are sharing ribs together in the Alabama "heat."

And I'm excited about the working out. Now I need to do as well. Your care package should be there next week, if the mail can find you. Love you, Sunshine, be safe!
